Who we are

Feelix is operated by Shared Ground Media LLC. This policy explains how we use information when you use getfeelix.com, create an account, purchase Deal Passes, contact us, or choose notifications.

Information we collect

We collect account and restaurant registration details, email addresses, restaurant follows, notification preferences, Deal Pass and payment references, and support messages. If you choose texts, we collect your mobile number and consent records, including the wording you accepted, time, source, verification status, IP address, browser information, and opt-out history. If you enable push notifications, we store the browser subscription needed to deliver them.

Your browser stores local preferences, guest favorites, and checkout-recovery references. Session cookies support sign-in. When you permit location access, Feelix uses your location to help find nearby restaurants. Hosting and service providers may process technical and security logs.

To improve the purchase journey, Feelix records offer impressions, detail views, and checkout clicks using a random browser-tab identifier and a broad acquisition channel and device category. Checkout records may include that attribution. Analytics events do not include email addresses, phone numbers, card details, or full referring URLs. Browser Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals disable this visit tracking; payment records still need to be retained.

How we use information

We use this information to provide accounts and Deal Passes, process purchases, administer restaurants, deliver the notifications you request, respond to help requests, prevent misuse, and maintain evidence of consent. Account and Deal Pass text consent is separate from promotional Drop Alert consent. Neither is required to create an account or buy a Deal Pass.

Service providers and restaurants

Netlify provides hosting, authentication, and storage. Stripe processes payments; Feelix stores payment references and status, not full payment-card numbers. Twilio processes mobile numbers and message content to deliver texts. Browser push services deliver push notifications. These providers receive information needed for their services.

Relevant restaurant staff can review their restaurant’s Deal Passes and purchase help requests. We may disclose information when needed to comply with law or protect users and the service.

We do not sell or share mobile numbers, SMS opt-in information, or SMS consent records with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. We share this information with service providers only as needed to deliver and administer the messaging program, or as required by law. Restaurants do not receive permission to independently market to you by text through your Feelix consent.

Your choices

Manage account texts at Text preferences and each restaurant’s Drop Alerts in Following → Alert settings. Reply STOP to any Feelix text to stop all Feelix texts. Reply HELP for support. Browser notification permissions and local storage can be managed in your browser. Disabling a channel does not disable other channels.

Contact peter@sharedgroundmedia.com to request access, correction, or deletion of your information. We may need to verify your identity. We retain data while needed to provide services and meet security, payment, legal, and consent-record obligations; deleting an account may not immediately delete records needed for those purposes.

Security and updates

We use access controls and service-provider safeguards to protect information, but no system is completely secure. Please do not include passwords or card details in support messages. We may update this policy and will post the current effective date here.
